Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday for encouraging someone and reminding them that we are thinking of them and love them. ❤️

When asked what the most important commandment was, Jesus said that to love God was the first and foremost commandment, and to love one’s neighbor was the second most important commandment. (*See Matthew 22:37-38) 

In fact, to love was so important that Jesus said “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-34 NIV)

The Apostle John wrote that it was impossible to love God and hate someone at the same time.

“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 21 And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.” 1 John 4:20-21

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 

What is a coloring page but an artist’s blueprint, plan, or original drawing that comes purposelessly unfinished so that another artist may complete the picture with any color, in any medium they wish...

Dream Big" is a beautiful encouraging poem inspired by the Holy Spirit that the Lord blessed me with one day.

In God's word He says through the apostle Paul, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."( Philippians 4:13)

The Lord must often remind me of this verse and this truth. He asks me in Christ to "dream big." He says to remember that through Christ I can do all things. To remember that He empowers me to do all things that He asks me to do for Him. It is the Lord who sows His dreams in my heart and then gives me the power and grace to accomplish them as I rely on His Holy Spirit to guide me in His wisdom and understanding.

For there are so many things I don't know how to do that He asks me to do.

And yet He whispers to my heart "dream big."
